Born Bob Ninda Kombe in Ndola, the Kabwe raised rapper developed an interest in the hip hop culture at primary school level in Durban, South Africa where his mother had migrated to attend Bible college shortly after the untimely death of her husband in 1989. He heard the Gospel from his mother and became a Jesus follower at the tender age of six. Following their return to Zambia in 1998, Bob’s love for rap music continued to grow, and he would nurture his writing and rapping skills with church performances and participation in talent competitions. He later adopted the name “Babyboy” which was popularized by his feature on Njoya Tee’s 2007 hit song “Mulilo”. Later he formed the duo BabyboyMagnumWorship (B.M.W.) with Mag44. He took on the name “Livin2Die” in 2012, as a constant reminder to himself to “Live with the ‘end’ in mind”. Livin2Die is an independent artist and has two albums under his belt, the Livin2Die EP and Life’s Music.
